Dario Mendoza

G'day. My name is Dr Dario Mendoza - I'm a production animal vet with a special interest in cattle. In 2020 I established Cattle Health Consulting to provide consultancy, veterinary and related services to dairy and beef clients, commercial and stud operations of all sizes. I'm a senior vet with a passion for the health and well-being of cattle. I have extensive training and experience in the field, and worked for over a decade in New Zealand and Gippsland before settling in the Light North of South Australia. I had the opportunity to share my knowledge and skills with the final year veterinary students at the Roseworthy Campus of The University of Adelaide as a Production Animal Clinician. Being encouraged by a group of reputable local producers, I left my position at Roseworthy to establish my own business, Cattle Health Consulting. I established my client-focused service with the goal of providing consistent and permanent support to the local cattle farming community. My focus is on preventative herd medicine, reproduction, farm profitability, and animal wellbeing. The greater flexibility of my family business allowed me to make time for both my career and taking care of my young son who attended a school in Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley. I speak English and Spanish.
