About Me

I am a small animal veterinarian with a strong interest in internal medicine. I graduated from James Cook University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and have since pursued further qualifications, including Membership with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Small Animal Medicine) in 2021 and a Bachelor of Medical Research (First Class Honours) from the University of Tasmania. I am currently undertaking a PhD in wildlife immunology at the University of Tasmania. I began in country mixed-animal practice in Victoria before transitioning to small animal general practice and completing a small animal internal medicine internship in Sydney. I have also worked in emergency medicine in Tasmania, where I developed strong skills in managing critical cases. I currently work as an associate veterinarian at The Dog Clinic while completing my PhD in wildlife immunology. I am happy to provide advice on dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice, and Australian wildlife.
